Hi all

Can anyone comment on the Fluval Uno 800 Aquarium Set - any good? I've had a Tropiquarium 55 for a while now and am not impressed so am looking to upgrade.

Specifically interested in

- Amount of heat generated by lighting, is this a problem during summer
- How the heater / filter is wired into the tank
- Any other problems / caveats!

Many thanks in advance

Hi i have the Deep Duo 800,probebly same as the Uno 800 just a bitt deeper.
Mine came with a 150w Tronic Heater which works well. The lighting doesn't heat the hood at all,and I didn't have any problems in the Summer,i just opened the Hood flap when it was really hot. The flap goes right along the hood and gives good acess to the Tank.
It came with a Fluval +2 internal Filter, which i found a bitt messy ,to get out of the tank (water all over the place). All in all i am happy with it. :good:

I'm planning on running a Tetratec Ex600 or similar on the tank - is the internal filter wired into the hood or on it's own plug?
