Fluval Spec Now Set Up But Still Few Questions

Hi all i have my spec set up and cycled and just added a betta today, will get pics this week, i am just wondering what to do next, i was planning on doing a 30% water change weekly and topping up the evaporation when needed, will feed with flakes or blood worms daily and should i test all my parameters weekly ? obviously check temp daily, also how much should i feed ? just 1-2 flakes so

weekly-water change and parameters
daily-feed and check temp and dose with 5 drops of flourish excel

anything else i should worry about? also my anubias plants have brown algie on the leaves any idea what could cause it ? i have stock light on from 10-6

also just purchased a fluval ebi and struggling to find out what co2 to use or should i make a system with a paintball canister ? what you think ? love the look of homemade canister systems with the paintball setup

I dose EasyCarbo liquid CO2 daily in my Ebi 30l. Might be worth looking at.
