Fluval Filter On Ebay

Hi all,
I'm new to this site, i've just bought a 48x15x15 tank and was scouting about on ebay when i came upon a Fluval 304, it's listed as spare or repair it's described as such -

""This is for sale as spares or repairs, when plugged in it ran for about an hour then stopped,The motor runs ok but i have no idea what the problem is, but i guess someone out there does and will get a bargain!""

is this worth a look and does anyone have any idea as to what could be the problem?

i live within 20 miles of the item so i might get a bargain
