Fluval Chi

I'm gonna buy one or I might get the holiday bundle. Still could neons go in there?

I don't think there's enough swimming space for neons

Oh ok looks like it's gonna be a betta and some ghost shrimp.

How many tanka do you have?
I ask because from what I've read Bettas do best by themselves

2 and 2 on the way. The ones on the way are the chi and a 15 gallon and then a 55 gsllon in the summer if all goes well.

My fry are about 4 weeks old and looking very nice I believe they are swordtail platy hybrids. It's still a but difficult to tell. I have 16. I plan to use some in restocking my 29 gallon tank. The fish all died but one from disease.

I thought I recognised the tank in your avatar, glad the fry are doing well

Goldfish can't really be kept in tanks, as pablo said. They grow to be very large (it's purely a myth that they'll only grow to the size of their tank) and you'd need a MASSIVE tank to be able to house them.

I personally have two friends who both keep neons and a betta in together and have had no problems, so it is a bit hit or miss.

And more fry on the way. My last Molly my only fish left is giving birth right now!!!!! :) :good:

She keeps pooing is this bad or something?

A Chi is definitely not suitable for Black Moors or any goldfish.
Properly looked after in the right size tank they can grow very big

MOST goldfish (including Moors, I have one that is 2 years old and 9 inches long and the size of a soft ball) grow large, a lot more than people think unless you STUNT the fish, Whig is not healthy but done all the time. a lot of people don't consider the needs of the fish biologically when they purchase them, and that's the sad reality.
HOWEVER veil tails and China dolls (Goldie varieties) are so misshapen and literally are dwarfs that never get very large even under ideal conditions.

I already defied to pass the goldys for now.

Decided not defied. :grr: spell check.
