Fluval 305 External Filter.

Hello all.

I am just setting up a 30gallon nano reef.

I am using a brand new fluval 305 external filter which at the mo has 3 chambers of carbon and 3 chambers of ceramic rings.

i will also be using a red sea max delux skimmer which has a small media basket inside which i will use for carbon.

Can i swith around my 305 chambers and use different media? If so what?

Sure can. Carbon and phosphate remover are good choices

If i use a phosphate remover does this need to be bagged?

Where in the order of things would it come?

Order doesn't matter. And if you need to bag it or not depends on the filter... Chances are good it'll need bagging, but I without having the filter baskets there I can't say for sure.
