Fluval 204 Question

I got given a Fluval 204 last week and it needed a new impeller.

I also bought a new impeller for it .

The one I bought arrived and it is different than the one I have !!

As you can see the New one is too small even though it says its for the Fluval 204 ?

Anyone know which one I need to buy, as I cant find anything other than the one I bought already !

NM. Think Ive solved it,

There are 2 different 204 filters. Pre and Post Jan 2001, and mine is the POST one.

If your impeller has straight blades you want the part no A-20041 for the curved blades you want a-20040.
