Fluval 105 Filters

hi i need to change the 4 white filters in my fluval 105 external filter can i change all 4 together
the tank has been Established for around 8 months.

I wouldn't change them unless they were literally falling apart. In which case I stil wouldn't change them all at the same time. Some of your nitrifying bacteria will be housed on them.

A good squeeze in old tank water once a month is what the sponges in my 205 and 305 get.

thanks the filters are very very dark and the water has little white bits flouting in it as if it wont clear

I'd clean all the gunk off them in tank water first and see if that helps.

There's polishing pads/filter floss that might help if you're still seeing particles in the water.
