So I have a ten gallon with 5 fish(small ones) and some kind of grass and three different kinds of rotellas and of course a small co2 system (diy). The light hood has two spots for screw in bulbs.

My question is can I have one coralife bulb and one regular fluorescent light (screw in, of course)?

The coralife is bulb is a mini-compact fluorescent colormax 10 watt bulb. The other is a regular GE 13 watt fluorescent bulb.

I don't like the dim purple-ish output from the two mini-compact and think the tank looks way cooler with the lights mixed.

Thanks!
