Been trying all night to find a good treatment here in the U.k to teat Fluke but no luck, only salt baths so please can anyone help me. I don't know if this is hard to treat as there is not much information about treatments. When it comes to Ich White spot, people will know all about it as it's easily treated most of the time. Being fluke hope someone as knowledge on this nice forum :) Your help will be mush appreciated :)

Anyone on this forum most know about fluke or it is just white spot that gets a answer, as we all know about The white spot

Uk meds for flukes are, wormer plus, sterazin by waterlife.
There also a jbl med but think you have to have a certain ph to use that med.

The problem with flukes is that some are egg layers and you need to keep treating to kill the young as they hatch.
Also flukes cause bacterial infections. So once you finished the med you have to back up with a bacterial med.

I don't know if it's fluke yet as there is no signs of eggs, worms, slime anything that is known for fluke, but today it's still darting around and rubbing, water seams ok no ammonia 0 and nitrite 0 nitrate 15 ph 7 so it's got me confused, what to treat it with :(

Signs of skin and gill flukes are.

Opaque body with excess slime.
Red inflamed gills, or pale gills with excess slime.
Red sores, or red pin prick marks on the fish.
Flicking and rubbing.
laboured breathing, or gasping at surface of tank.
Swimming in a jerky movement.
Darting, erratic swimming.
Weightloss.
Spitting food out sometimes.

Any tiny white or yellow spots on the fish.
Does the fish have a blue or greyish film on the fish.
Any gold dusting, or rusty coloured varnish on the fish.
