Flubenol 15

Hi all,

I have snails!!

Not happy about that but I have them and I'm getting a little pee'd off with having to keep removing them and throwing them out the door.

I've been reading up about a product called Flubenol 15 and it seems not only a good product to use for snails and cleaning new plants with to avoid introducing snails and the alike to your tank, but to keep in stock as a handy med in case of emergencies.

Is this the case? Has anyone else used this product? Is it any good and especially getting rid of snails?

PS Forgot to ask, I have a Bamboo Shrimp in the aquarium, I take it he will be safe using this product - it sounds good.

I've never heard of this, but if you're having a snail population problem try cutting back on your feeding. If you overfeed your fish the snails are getting a lot of the food and reproducing a bit.

I have some. I've not used it yet but I have it just in case.
the expiry date on mine is 2014 so there is no rush.
