Flourish Excel

ive bought a bottle of flourish excel when i bought all my plants last week and have been using it regulary as recommended on the bottle... my plants have had lots of new growths and seem to be doing generally well overall so far....

i was just wondering if it is any good or not as i know lots of aquarium products are garbage and do nothing at all, if not they just make things worse and they just want your money for nothing.

im not using any co2 and i have two t5 bulbs in my fixture... it doesnt show the wattage on there though

just want to know if i should buy more or if im just wasting my money?

It is a good product and does what it says on the bottle.

using excel is like using CO2 but you get maybe at most 1/4 of the benefit that you would get from pressurized CO2.

you do get faster growth, stronger plants - and as an added bonus, excel fights some kinds of algae.
