I've got a florescent light long-bulb (I'm not sure what it's called... it's just a regular aquarium light). I've been wanting to replace it since I've had it for about 8 months. I hear that different lights have different affects on the appearance of fish and scenery. My tank is a 29 gallon with live plants and light & dark blue gravel. I mostly have livebearers like mollies, platys and guppies. I have a few tetras and a blue dwarf gourami, too. Can anyone reccomend a brand of light, type, kind I should look for, or a website that could help me? :) I would appreciate it.

By the way, light blubs aren't super expensive, are they? Like, over $50? I'm on a typical 16-year old minimum wage budget here. :X

Thanks chris! Although I checked my local pet stores and they don't carry those lights :( I don't think they sell them in the US. You were right about prices, though! They aren't as bad as I expected.

Anyone else have any suggestions? :fun:
