Right now I have a 30litre tank, with a 90litre one cycling. It should be ready in a couple days. The 90l floor is 30" x 12"
I have one panda, bandit, and sterbai and 8 hastatus corys in my 30l (nothing else)
I bought a panda and sterbai before I knew you couldn't mix different species, but once the new tank is ready I will swap the sterbai for another panda or two to make em happy =)

I got the bandit as a friend for the panda (didnt have anymore pandas) The panda and bandit get along really well, theyre the same size and look almost the same so I figured it would be fine.

Anyway, I was wondering how much floorspace is required for corys.
Could I have 4 panda/bandit and 4 sterbai?

If they don't have enough space, what happens?

Do bristlenose's take up too much of their floorspace?

Well i have 5 bronze in my 125l which has a similar maybe smaller space, and its planted, and it has a CAE down there too, and there seems to be plenty of room for them. I prob wouldnt put any more than 8 in that size though.

how would the pygmy corys translate? is 8 of them and 4 normal sized ones OK?

What is the effect on them if you have too many for the tank's floorspace?

corys will enjoy as much floor space as you can provide them, they also like places to hide and get away from everything. mine chill out in a couple of coconut caves and have a full tank to swim about in thats 3ft with just a couple of pieces of bogwood :good:
