Hi all,
I've just received a fabulous package of Salvinia Natans from Andy at Greenline. I've never had these before. Some of the leaves look a little brownish as do some of the 'roots' (for want of a better word). Should I trim any of these 'roots' before putting them in the tank when I get home, or just throw them in?.

As long as its not got lots and lots of brown, just chuck them in! :)

Cheers, Guv. Did that when I got home with them on Saturday morning. I didn't realise they were so large; keep getting stuck under the bracing bars!!. Water level usually drops after a couple of days anyway (open topped tank). My Harlequins love them; always picking bits of food out of them.
