Any Ideas for a floating plant that will grow in a low light tank? i dont want anything thats too tiny but obviously not massive as its only a 18 x 10 x 10 tank.
Duckweed - Very Small
Water Lettuce - Can get to a nice size.
Salvinia - Again nice size
You could leave Creeping Jenny floating and that would spread out.
I have frogbit in a low light 5 gal, its much smaller than water lettuce, assuming we are talking about the same plant, doesnt grow very fast in my no fert shrimp tank doubles in two months approx.
I will probs have a good with frogbit then i dont want anything super fast, i have a floating plant in my main tank that grows like crazy, i have to take out all the new plants every week (helps keep the algae down mind you), cant remember its name...something fluitans (not riccia)
