hey
i have got a 15g(24inch) tank.
with 2 pairs of dwarf gouramis
3 albino bronze catfish
4 otocinlus'
i want to put a floating plant in there but i dont want one too big which will block out the light and roots that take up the whole tank.
any suggestions?

urggh i hate that frogbit stuff that comes sometimes with ur fish... if u dont get rid of the little bits fast then it quickly takes over ur tank!

i had someone from when i had brought my angels, within a week id got 20x more than what i started with.. given a month it would have covered my 4ft tank.. :grr:

I think u mean Duckweed.

I float Hornwort in some of my planted tanks. It grows like weeds, plus it won't block out the light for the rest of the plants.

how about a plant that will have surface leaves?

yeh, i saw that.
ive got the catalogue infront of me now.
But when i look in it the plant is actually red, where i want a green one.
Red just wouldnt go in my tank.

Anarchis is very common and comes in bunches that you can pull apart and it floats. No flowers though. There are no roots and I think gourami would like them.
