Floating Pellets

I have recently started using hikari floating pellets to feed my cichlids, do i need one pellet per fish so that they all get fed, or do the pellets break up and allow the others to get fed.I am used to using flake food

Hi, they are described on the pack as a medium sized pellet probably about 3mm across, diameter.
