i have some hygrophila polysperma floating under 1wpg of light. it's turned pink. the only thing i dislike about it is it grows looaaaads of roots from the middle of the stem which looks messy.
A lot of the plants that aren't "rosetta" like plants, such as Cabomba, Water Sprite/Wisteria, things like that, wouldn't they do fine as floating plants?

Water sprite will quickly take over your tank if you let it grow... I have a problem with it in my 10 gallon!!! But it can get enourmous root sytems, I've had ones that had been floating and grew root sytems reaching the gravel. I would reccomend it though.. It grows emersed very easily, and it's very pretty. All my fish love it as shelter.
