been mulling on getting a flame for a while now but i've heard good and bad reports about them, i've left it as 'last fish in' as they can be a bit nippy, any of you fine people got any views on this fish? it will be in a 240lt tank with apair of clowns, chalk goby, clown wrasse, sailfin tang and a scooter blenny :fish: cheers all :good:

Really the only things they nip are corals... If it's a fish only tank, go for it, but if you have corals, I'd stay away

ive had 2 in reef tanks one in my 180litre didnt nip a thing, and one in my works 1000 litre adn again seems perfectly fine and hes in with mainly sofites and lps. hes better behaved then some of the other dwarf angels that have been in there thats for sure.

though i still believe its 50/50 wether they will nip or not at corals, majority of the time you keep them well fed with algae to graze on and there ignore most corals.

cheers fellas, i've got corals but i'm still tempted too roll the dice and take a chance :drinks:
Just image how hard it will be take it out IF it does like the taste for coral. Taking out the rock work to catch the sob, etc.

However, they are very very beatiful fish

Hard decisions. I've mulled over the idea as well and I'm passing. :good:
