Hi,

I have a Apistogramma Agassizi with signs of internal parasites. He has Flagellates.

The usual medicine for Flagellates is Flagyl, but I have read that Sera Flagellol it's much more effective.

Since the fish is still eating, I want to mix Flagellol (Flagellol) on the food.

So, i have mixed 1ml (25 drops) on 4 artemia cubes, and frozed the artemia again.
My plan is to feed this artemia during the next 7 days.

Am I doing right? Anyone has experience with Flagellol?

Thank

Not sure what are the ingredients in this medication you are using, but I treated guppies for flagellates(hexamita-white poo, thin bellies, lack of energy, hiding) with metronidazole in the food same way as you and it got rid of the slow dying simptoms. It was a while ago though.
You need to figure out the cause of them developing the disease as it could be lack of nutritients like calcium and magnesium, low kh/dh of your water, etc...Dosing with a plant fertilizer on regular basis containing these won't harm too.
