To help with aeration (and hopefully faster cycling) I bought and installed a longish bubble bar in my tank. The bar in combination with my filter sucking in bubbles is putting enough tiny bubbles in my tank to make the water surface literally fizz. The minute droplets flung up by this fizzing seem to get everywhere, most concerningly all over my lightbulbs and the lightbulb covers.
I know water + electricity = bad times, but other than that is there such a thing as having overly aerated water? Has anyone ever had this problem, if so, can it be ficksed?
Also, i've been poking around in the planted tanks section of the forum and have gleaned enough information to surmise that plants like C02, and that air pumps drive off C02. If i remember correctly, the atmosphere is 10% or somat C02. Wouldnt aerating the jesus out of your tank water introduce enough C02 to make many a plant happy?
