Hi i got a question reguarding breeding platies!

ok have as far as i can see 2 preg females i have tried to put one of them in a breeding trap a couple of times before because it looked huge but only kept it in there a couple of days then let it out again becasue i thought oh its not going to have um its just teasing so decided to buy a small tank kinda kids set up put heating it, and filter plants etc and am in the process of adding filter start for first 7 days so just letting it settle down now the question is...........do i put female in breeding net/trap i have both or do i let her drop them and hope to find some remembering i have angle fish n also red tailed shark as few of many then hopefully catch some( cant see that happening with other fish in there) have plenty of plants in there but still iffy on what to do i just want to be able to say my fish have had babies please help somebody the last think i want todo is stress them out but so want babies!....

Hi Just a thought would it have been possible when you do a water change put the water in new tank lightly wash toghter the old filter pad with the new ones. and put the platys strat in. i might be wrong but it would be quicker.

Use water from the tank in the new tank and some gravel and some of the plants and like Ivor said the filter bit and it should be ok
