Once upon a time my fishes used to recognise me and would come to the front of the tank to get my attention, but ever since I started buying more plants, and inserting them, I rarely get to see any of my fishes any more.

In addition, I think my tanks are in 'near perfect' living conditions, and consider it pretty self-reliant. I now only need to feed my fishes once a day. Used to be at 12-hourly intervals.

I'd like to continue giving them the attention they deserve, and miss their attentions. Ah well. What can I do, but leave them to 'enjoy' their existence. I'm doing my best to keep them happy, and I hope they're happy.

Just thought you lot like to know. :)

Once your fish have offspring of their own, then (and only then) they'll realize how hard it is to raise kids, and they'll thank you for it. Right now, though, they must be adolescents. They don't caome around as much as they used to, you're not as cool to them as you used to be, they are starting to provide for themselves, making oyu feel unneeded and useless. It's okay, it happens to all parents. Don't feel bad, even if they won't say it, they still love you.
