fishy wishys!

Looking good paul.

You think yours is overstocked, you should see mine at the moment with all the Africans and Asians chucked out of their tanks and into the 200 with the arowana and south Americans, the tank looks a bloody mess if i say so myself :(

The solution is on the horizon though, things are finally in motion for us to be moving house in the end of this year/early part of next year so i will soon have a fish house up and running and be able to set up all my tanks again (plus a few more, i see a very big tank in my near future  )

Wonderful fish and pics (as ever) dude.

I wouldn't woory overly about the stocking as with a tank that size there's almost always going to be swimming room and with sump filtration you can be a lot more flexible with stocking. My 150 is probably (read certainly) overstocked by the standard ways, but as with yours the water stats stay fine and the sump filter can handle quite a beating.

I'm still not a fan of the cichlids, but am loving the rays and aro more than ever. Have you seen the TSN since he left?

Andy

yer, i'm not too worried about the overstocking, hell i even have a few plecs and cichlids growing out in othyer tanks for it!

I do need to sort the sump out soon though, when i was inexperienced my work mate lead me to leave that "aqua rock" was alfa grog and after alot of crap it has started to clog, so I now need to start to mature another media to replace it with, I'm thinking of using Kalness(pond media) along with some substrat pro which will be dumped in the sump first.

nah i regurlarly see the guy who bought it, I'm scared to ask how he's doing incase something went wrong so prefer not to know if something did!

Hey, just wonderin, is that first fish an Archer fish, it sorta looks like one. And what's wrong with discus? They are awsome.

im pretty sure its an archer fish...ive always wanted one..but im not to sure if that is though because of the rigid fin on him...usually there fin lies down on there back ...and discus are absolutely beautiful in my view...much to large for me though..but i have been thinking about starting a new tank featuring the amazon...so many different ideas when it comes to fish keeping!!

Theres no archers or discus here

The black and white striped fish is a Siamese tiger fish and i dont know what you could think is a discus, the Severum maybe?

discus in my tanks  only if i was a bit flash with cash and decided to feed them some discus!

the geophagus is a suriemensis.
