Hi everyone.

it may not even work either as this is my first attempt....

edit: okay cant link to individual vids, for the other 3 click the negative on the right. the first 3 are in the cube, last one is in my 40G.

enjoy

Nice videos

I was going to say your plec (im assuming its a plec, the big brown fish) is like a monster, until I saw your angel fish come into the shot... That thing is huge!!!

I've never kept either of those fish, so I dont know what size they grew too.

Good to see.

Paul

Nice!

I'm waiting on some recovery disks to be delivered so I can reformat my HD and then install my mini-dv software and upload some vids of my own :)

cool stuff jimbooo, what a great service (the video hosting i mean) its a wonder you manage to keep any plants down at all!!

hi paul, yep he's a monster alright, about 8 inches nose to tail tip, the angel is about the same size top to bottom if you know what i mean. the angel is just about fully grown but the plec (actually a gibbiceps will go on and on. i've seen a few between 1 and 2 feet long.

Lovely tank. Can I have it

no, lol

I like the videos. Very nice tanks and angel. Doesn't the plec disrupt your plants?

not hugely, he doesn't eat the leaves just sucks the algae off them, pretty well behaved as far as plecs go. he does like to burrow his head in the riccia though and is usually the cause of my riccia rebuilds. if an algae wafer drops into the riccia he'll dig and thrash about till he gets it causing total devestation. not really the ideal fish for such a tank but rules are made to be broken, i dont mind clearing up after him.

i must say though he produces more poo then the whole tank put together, kinda troublesome when your trying to maintain exact phosphate levels (hence my recent algae problems i think) because of this i'm not adding phosphate any more just nitrate.

Wow its guppy fry city, that angel must be well feed lol

I like the last one witht the angel :)

LOL, different tank. the guppys are in with 2 female adult guppies 2 albino bristlenoses, 1 gibbiceps (same as in the angel vid, i've got 2) and 2 massive armoured shrimps. the fry are fine.. it's a 50G cube, like an ocean to them...

yep, traditional planted tank stocking i think not. .LOL that hosting thingy is great isn't it. well worth downloading. you just drag and drop the vid in to the program and it does the rest for you. only draw back is max of 10 x 2 minute vids with the free account then you have to delete or upgrade. fine for our purposes though, how many tank vids do you need and i think 2 mins is more than enough.
