fishy photos

can anyone give me any tips on photographing my fish ... close ups aint great i have a good 5.i digital camera ... fugi and its excellent quality ??? with 3 x optical zoom

Hiya,

I try and take my pictures at night. Turn off all the lights in the house and just have your fish tank light on. Turn the flash OFF on your camera. Thats the best for me.

I have a "macro" option on my camera which takes really nice clear close ups. Don't know if you have something similar on yours.

Other than that I think a steady hand (or even better a tripod) and patience.
