Fishy Pair for a 10g?

I went to the closer lfs and asked him if he had rams today and he said no, becuase they are hard to keep alive! So i asked him what would be good for a 10g tank? He said anything becuase it will grow to the size the tank will allow! So i just walked out. Whats a good fish that can pive in pairs for a 10g tank. I have in mind a pair of Dwarf Puffers.

How about some Gourami's? Those are very colorful! Or, you could buy some Dwarf Puffers, my personal favorite!

Yes dwarf gouramis are great! I also recommend angels, although you will have to upgrade in tank size quite soon. My angel pair spawned for my several times in my 10 gallon.

a pair of bristle nose plecs

Then you'll be able to breed them and raise the fry etc - very rewarding

Aren't bristlenose plecs too big for a tank of that size?

I would do a pair of Apistogramma.
