Fishy Food

hi I saw some cheap fish flakes for sale in a well know store, can anyone tell me if this is ok for fish or do you need to buy the more expensive well known brands. Maybe a silly question for some of you but i'm not sure and don't want to give my fishy friends something thats not very good for them.

How about comparing the labels? If the cheap brand has a high proportion of ash and contains less actual food, then stay away from it.
