Bought some Mopani wood. so it's got a brownish tint from the tanins. also bought some Java ferns.. i think it looks much better. What'cha think?

Hmm. why does it look eerie? Besides that lightning thing. i never noticed that before, it does look odd. Hmm. more plants. Actually there's another java fern right behind the right piece of Mopani. maybe i'll move it so it's more visible. Wow. thanks for the TOTM.. my first nomination! It's a 40 gallon tank..

Yeh it looks eerie but you should make the most of it....

Black Ghost Knife fish?
Some scary looking catfish?
Some irridescent fish - lampeyes etc..

It would look great I think.

The mopani is really nice. I like the dark lighting on it, it looks nice and natural

here's a video of my new pictus catfish. it's pretty big. 5mb. or so..
if you have dial up it's not really worth waiting an hour for 15 second video. so don't bother.
