Well good thing I did a fishless cycling. Anyway I just introduced some live rock in a few days ago and dumb enough I had them ground shipped from Florida. They were still wet when they got in. I just checked my Amonia, Nitrite and Nitrate and all those are really high. I mean super high, as high as the chart will go.

I'm about to make a water change (20%) with dechlorinated water. This should help the nitrate level right?

Also there is a light blue film that is building on my live rock. What is it and should I get rid of it.

Thanx

Live rock? You have a marine tank? Go to the saltwater section :p

Hey mod if i'm in the wrong forum section please move my post.

Well changing (20%) reduced the level of ammonia from 6.0 to .5. I will change 20% of the water again tomorrow and will test the water again. I will keep you guys posted.

Have fun!!!
