I'm upgrading from a 27 litre tropical tank to a 120 litre tropical tank.

Over time I plan to transfer all plants, fish and bogwood to the new tank.

Last night I started the fishless cycle with pure amonia.

Should I add plants to the new tank now, or wait till the end of the cycle?

I don't want to harm the plants as they are doing well in the old 27 litre tank, so if they will suffer I'll keep them in the small tank.

Would plants help the fishless cycle or cause problems?

You can add plants during a fishless-cycle, if you have a heavily planted aquarium it can even speed it up :) Plants will feed off ammonia, not being harmed :good:

No worries, good luck and pictures are always welcome here :good:
