I may be naughty classing this as an emergency but I thought the experts might be more likely to help. Ny Nutrafin test kit measures ammonia in mg/L and the fish less cycling info tells me to raise the level to 4 or 5 ppm. What would that be in mg/L. At the moment my kit says the levels at 0.203mg/L???
Thanks.

roughly equal

1mg/l is roughly 1ppm (1.001142303 ppm if we're being precise)

Thanks, but I'm really confused. The calculator says I needed to add 13 ml of ammonia (95 - Jeyes) to my 260l tank to raise the level to 4/5ppm. I did that yesterday and this morning the level is 0.203 mg/L . I did transfer some material from my other filter to the new one so could it be processing the ammonia already?

yup - check for nitrites and nitrates

add another 13ml and see if your ammonia test reads 5mg/l
