Fishless Cycle - Flowchart

Hello, I am a newcomer to the fish world and have been reading this forum for 5 days now... There is information coming from all angles about cycles with fish cycles without fish bicycles and tricycles and it can all get a bit confusing for the general newbie (myself included)

What I propose is, a 'idiots guide - flowchart' to do a cycle.

Now I don't feel I'm at all at place to produce one as I have not got all the correct experience to successfully design one and as I'm only into Day 5 of my own cycle I would mearly be frowned upon.

So I am putting it out there for a experienced fish keeper to produce a 'Idiots guide to successfully cycle' in the format of a Flowchart for easy to follow and aesthetic purposes.

I could produce a very basic one of what I have learned from this site, and then maybe the experts can pull it apart and help me produce a quality Flowchart.

an interesting idea. Have you read the beginner's guide as I found the information in there fairly well presented (though I did have to ask some questions but I think I was over thinking it a little )?

The trouble with this is the variables. There are so many variable that it would be dofficult to make a flow chart that suits every cycle.

I agree with Miles, the BRC has everything you should need, and its quite plainly laid out!

But that's the point of the flowchart - it takes care of the variables ....

I had questions even after reading the guide a number of times.

I say make a flowchart SmartBlue - and then we'll pull it apart and see if we can't make it into something useful ! I don't have the IT skills to help, but pm me and any other members that offer to help, when it's done !!
