i had a quick destruction infection in my tank 2 months ago,cant find out what the infection was all i know is 3 out of the 11 fish that deis heg fin rot... i had tried meth blue it did zero but dye my bog wood and ornament... i did daily 10% water changes and my fish slowly stopped dieing, i was also doing water checks and they came up perfect everytime, I even took my water to 3 different pet shop/fish shop and they tested the water to come up fine I had them all baffled. but now I have no dead fish in 2 months and was wondering what woiuld be good to get, hardy fish... my sig has the fish left in the tank and please no one make a comment about the sharks as they been in the tank 2 years and are still small, my mollies where bigger then them.

What sharks?

Get 5 more neons and 4 more harlequin rasboras.

Then maybe get a couple more female swords and a male.

Alternatively, either a trio of platies and/or 5 or so zebra/leopard danios would work and they are very hardy.

Another hardy fish is the american-flag fish. A male/female pair would work.

Or you could try a single male three-spot gourami though it's one of the fish most likely to be attacked by the CAE.

Bronze (and albino), peppered and blackfin cories are also hardy. Should be in a group of at least 4. May be terrorized by that CAE because they are also bottom-dwellers and may be interpreted as intruding into its territory - especialy if they aren't in a big enough group or very small.

The CAE will eventualy be a problem regardless of what you may think. For this reason, despite the fact that they may be hardy, any very small fish, bottom-dwellers and anything with a flat, lateraly compressed, body is best avoided.

BTW, if you were reffering to the CAE when you said 'shark', how big is it now? Are you certain it isn't an oto?

2 silver sharks, about 4 cm long im def gonna get more neons as there sholing fish and hes hiding all the time i also have 3 black widows forgot to add them to my sig
