If anyone remembers the dog toy in tank incident I had....i.e. flea treatment going into the water, I thought you might like an update...

Since I took the dog toy away, I did 2 x 50% water changes on consecutive days
25% water changes daily since the 50% changes
Watching fish

I put a poorly twinbar platy into quar tank 3 days ago...she hadn't been eating and was hanging on the bottom barely moving. Yesterday she started moving about quite a bit and today, she was VERY active (like a normal platy)...and I fed them.....and she ate...FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 DAYS!!!!

I am pretty excited about this.

All the other fish including fry are doing well.....

I am sooooooo happy

UPDATE....I just went and checked on her and she came over to say hello to me. I was so happy I had tears in my eyes. Especially since I thought she was going to die.

That's great to hear Angry_Platy! I'm glad you were able to identify what was causing the problem before it was to late. A good lesson to be learned for all of us as well!
