Fishbelly Or Pregnant Of A Goldfish

My goldfish from the day I got him or her on October 7, 2007 the goldfish has had a extended belly and it isn't bad or anything like that but it is my daughters who is 7 and she is worried about it. I was wondering if anyone know how to tell weather it is male or female and how to tell if it may be pregnant or not? The goldfish is very active and eats like crazy. Please hurry with your answers as my daughter is very worried and concerened about it.

I suggest you validate your account by going to your email account and clicking the link on the e-mail you got from TFF. Then you will be able to post in the other sections, were you will get a better response. I suggest you start another post, probably in the emergency section. You should also include the type of goldfish, the size of the tank, matintance and care, water stats(ammonia, nitrite, nitrate,ph), if the tank is cycled, and if possible a picture of the fish.
