Fish

It's been a while since I posted my planned list of fish and since I'm bored at the moment I thought I would post it.. These will be in my 30 gallon hex tank..

7 Tetras (Type depends on what the LFS has but probally Neon, Black Neon, Black Phantom)
5-6 Cories (Panda, Peppered or something else)
3-4 Platies
3 guppies (fancy, not sure what else they had)
2 Pearl Gouramies

Well thats my list its almost the same as it was all I changed is some of my choices of tetras and cories..

Also when I first start adding fish I know your suppose to add some fish then wait a 1-2 weeks before adding more, etc.. With the list of fish above. I know I want to put in the platies 1st what would you suggest adding next, then after that, etc..

The problem with hexs is their height...corys have to come up to the surface to breath and swimming very high isnt good for them...so you may want to rethink your corys...
I have always been found of angels in a Hex. But if you get angels, then the neons wont do...

I don't know, I was told by a lot of people that my choices would be fine for my tank.

If anyone has any suggestions for a community tank besides the ones I have go ahead and tell me.. I picked these because they aren't picky about water conditions. Remeber I have a hexagon tank, a 30 US gal.

Just out of curiousity is there anything compatible with angelfish?

Would this work in my tank also? Just so I have another plan in case my other one falls through.
7 Tetras (Anything but Neons)
3-4 Platies

Angelfish (not sure about the number yet)

wel how tall is the hex?

It's 25in tall but there is a little over 23in of water.
