How can I stop this insipid wasting disease? It started 3 months ago when I bought a sick fish (bad on me). Now every couple of weeks one of my fish gets lethargic, stops eating and dies a couple of weeks later. One fish dies off and the next one gets sick. I treated the whole main tank (29 Gal) with Maracyn II about a month ago and it helped for a while, but the sickness has come back again. Any ideas?

Tank size:10 Gal hospital tank

Fish Symptoms:
This poor little danio has barely eaten in over two weeks, I'm pretty sure she's in her last days, but I'd like to know how to cure the main tank. symptoms are not eating, lethargy, hanging or hovering, hiding and occasional scratching.

Likely an internal parsite infection. Try anti parasitic meds. I assume you are in US if you've tried maracyn. Get some jungle medicated food as well as tank treatment. Its a good all around antiparasite med based on ingredients. Just make sure its the one with levamasole, metronidazole and praziquentil-should cover just about everything. May take some time to rid the problem. Internal parasites can be a nightmare to get rid of
Best of luck.
cheers
