Does the tank that has all your fish in it look crowded at all since I know that silver dollars get really big and so do some of the other fish you have in there?

To be honest, before you couldnt really see any fish, you had to look lol, it looked quite empty, but yes you can see them now, it doesnt look overcrowded, however, i do realise i have some fish in there that will grow LARGE, so am currently searching for tanks to re home my fish into :D

This hasn't been mentioned I hope  but you should put your broken tank on ebay or advertise it somewhere as I'm sure that someone will buy it and repair it and that way you can get some money towards your new tank!

Just a thought :)

Thats a great idea that way you can put the money towards your new tank and if you want you instead of getting the same size tank you can get a bigger one :hey:

Thanx guys

I have seen 2 tanks being sold together on ebay, a rekord 120 and a rekord 96, both for £100, i will see what i think etc.....

Dont know about advertising my tank, with 1 piece of pane broken, would someone really want it? :/ I do have the beech stand to go with it, they both cost me together £100, so i have no ideas what i would even ask for it, its about 5 months old.....

Ebay or Aquabid probably would be best if you don't see fixing it yourself in the future. I get deals on tanks locally, there's plenty of people like me who pick up equipment that needs a little work. My last score was a 38 gallon for $5. Probably doesn't need a reseal, the top frame may need a little work though.

See people will try and get a bargain if they can! I think if you aren't going to fix it then try and get something for it :)

Wouldn't bother it only put your premiums up.

OMG, so sorry to hear about the smash, glad to hear your boy and your fish are fine.

I've got a 4 year old and a 2 year old, both girls, reading this post is a bit of a wake up call, I think I'm going to put a big barrier up around my tank.

Thankfully my children have grown up,21 and 17.

its a nitemare with younger kids, we've got 5 kids & the youngest 2 who are 7 & 9 like to feed my fish but i wish they wouldn't as it always involves me doing a water change when they've done that lol. these are the same 2 that want a tank in their room for xmas
