Hey guys I really need help.

I had a 60 gallon tank but didn't care for it, and all this bacteria and junk began growing in it. Now I cleaned the tank, and all the bacteria (i think).

Now, I bought 6 fish, 2 gourami, 2 black mollie (1 i thought was pregnant), and 2 white mollies. Now a couple of days ago i noticed that the pregant black mollie had rusty spots on it's side, and now on the bottom of the fish tank. That fish is now dead, and so is it's mate.

Also, i noticed that the rust alge is growing on the side of where the light it on...

WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Note* I dont have any live plants in my tank though.

Does the rust spot looks like fine dust growing or spreading to other fish? If it does, it sounds like you have a velvet disease. There are several variety of them, and I can't recall which is which. Good news is that all your fish can tolerate salt and high temperature well. You migh want to SLOWLY raise the temperature to around 88-90 degrees, and add 2 tbs of salt/10 gallon. Do not dump salt into the aquarium, but dissolve it in a bowl of warm water and add it SLOWLY. You could also try Protozin or velvet specific medication.

By the way, you posted in the worst possible forum. This is the forum that most people don't check, as most don't keep live plants. Next time, try posting it in the emergency forum. You'll get a much quicker response that way.

by the sounds of it you've just cleaned the tank out which means you need to "cycle it again". dont add any more fish until this is done.

for more info on Cycling look in the beginner sections. Good luck
