Hello
Tank size: 15 gallon
pH: 7.8
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 40mg
tank temp: 28-30
Fish Symptoms : My female Egyptian Mouthbrooder is hovering really close to the surface. Near the filter and is just staying there. She did look like she was carrying eggs a few days ago and she wasn't eating, which is what they do. But then they went and she still wasn't eating.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 50% on Saturday
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: None
Tank inhabitants: 5 Harlquin Rasboras, 6 Lemon Tetras, 1 male Egyptian Mouth Brooder. However they are acting fine.
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): The mouth brooders were added 10 days ago
Exposure to chemicals: ... none that i know off
Digital photo (include if possible):
I took this outo of focus photo
Then as i got closer to take a better photo the fish swam off
Then went back to same place
Help!
