i have a 50 gallon tank with 2 dwarf gourami's, 5 cherry barbs, and 3 gold barbs and a algae eater. everything was fine until i put fake plants in my tank today. a little while after i noticed my fish started swimming on their side a little. i took the plants out, did a water change and conditioned the water. im not sure what to do. their still swimming on their side a bit, did i do everything i should have or can i do more? please help

Did you make sure you gave the plants a good boiled wash before you put them in? That could've been the problem.

i rinsed them off with very hot water for a bit. their fine today, their not swimming side ways anymore. im thinking me taking the plants out and doing the water change helped. im just gonna go buy real plants that i can put in the tank. thanks though :)
