Fish Sums

In tank one there will be in 20 Imperial 25 american Gallons 90litres

7 Neon Tetras = 35
2 male guppies/ Endlers = 08/
1 female guppie = 04
2 Golden Tetras = 20
2 Platys = 12
=total of 79cm of fish
Here I need to add more female guppies at least 4 = 16.
I am then snookered if they reproduce.


In Tank two there will be in 400litres aprox 90 gallons

2 Bala Sharks =70 These will need more as they swim fast however they will go back once too big lfs say they will have them.
2 Clown Loaches =30
2 Gouramies =10
1 Gibbicepts Red =35 also this will return if it gets too big.

1 Golden gouramie =10
= Total of 145cm of fish


What options can I use and whats for the best?


Come on you experts that keep saying tanks are over crowded. Let me start right . I admit being a fool since I made my biggest mistakes with the Balas and well I adore them and the Loaches and the gibicepts.

For tank one, the problem is potential guppy fry, right? Tbh, with 2 platys in residence+ the gups themselves, there is a fair chance that not that many fry will survive. If there is a problem, you could always let a gourami loose in the tank for a day or two. The other option is to return the female guppy and exchange it for another male.

For tank two, I wasn't quite sure of the question? Do you mean, what else can you put in? You may have underestimated the potential size of the clown loaches (they can grow more like 25 cms); but it might be a good idea if you've got the space to add companions for them; ideally they should be in small groups rather than pairs.

Thats what I am unsure about . In my book it says 15cm Sandford Gina , Tropical Freshwater Aquarium page 113.
I cannnot see me coping with then bigger than say 12 cm anyways.
The idiot I am I cannot work out what would be safe to add.

I was given the guppies as someone had problems with their tank. Endlers I think but will still be same problem. If I put the Neons,tetras and platys in the big tank would that be better
