I bought a new tank 32 gallon did a cloning cycle today. The filter was a 1500 and it was blowing my fish to the glass wall...so I had to return it I got a 1000 instead...My fish still have a little bit of a problem swimming against it one of my platies keeps going to the slip stream though.

Should it be Ok?

What brand filter is that? Can you reduce the flow rate? Or redirect it at the side of the tank so it's not as "cyclonic" i nthe tank?

How many litres/hour or Gallons/hour is the filter?

Its a I think 1000 liter per hour filter Atman filter internal

the filter is situated on the right side of the tank lemme see...

hopefully that helps

darnit the pic didn't work move the second line to the end of the bottom line...you will understand it

if its 1000lph then it probably is too powerful.

i have a few 1000lph filters and they fire out the water like a hose.

the xtra filtration is great tho so if you could reduce the flow some how. stick something over the end to split the output or something.

yeah...if it gets worse I will cover it a bit.....what should I cover the hose that moves the water out with?...unsafe to put a rock in it maybe?
