Fish Aficionado
So I was in Petsmart today, waiting for forever as usual for someone to come and help me in the fish section.
I'm standing there as one of the employees is helping a customer. I overhear the customer say that he has a 10 gallon tank, but not much else until they move over to where I'm standing.
I then learn that the customer is looking for possible tankmates for a male betta in the tank.
At first the employee is giving decent advice when the customer asks about larger fish.
And then this popped out of his mouth...
"If it was my tank and I wanted to add more fish...*looks at the tanks in front of him* I'd probably get a couple of these guys, about 2 or 3." He says as he points to the TIGER BARBS. "The betta shouldn't bother THEM too much."
My eyes just bugged out of my head. I quietly said noooooo.
Thankfully the employee told the guy he should probably go home first and do more research before buying anything and the customer left without buying any fish.
Sigh...... just hope the customer, whoever they are does their research or they're going to learn a hard lesson.
