yes they can grow back. My guppies did.

Well thats really good to hear! Because i got home last night from work and saw my angel fish trapped between a rock and the side of the glass i dont kno whow long he has been there for but when i freed him i saw a huge gash on his side, i think lost a fin and he was struggling to swim so i put stress coat in the tank to help him calm down and turned off the light. He was struggling he was swimming horozontally all night right near the top of the water and now its morning and hes still fighting but trying to swim round the tank i tell ya he's a fighter! Thanx so much wrs! I hope he will be ok!

If the fin has been torn at the base (part attaching fin to body) then it won't grow back.
