I spent a few hours at the 2010 Minnesota Aquarium Society fish show on Saturday. Lots of neat fish, saw some new ones and was happy to see some ones from last year. Here are a few of the pictures I took, hope you enjoy.
Superb pictures, that Albino Pleco looks like something out of a movie I've never heard of a fish show before though, how does that work exactly? Sounds like a lot of work to set it up for what I'd guess is a short period of exhibiting.
I went just to look, it is a lot of work to show. The show also always takes place about a month away from finals, which is the same time I realize I got to get my @#$ in gear . Its a 40 minuet drive there and takes place over multiple days. Setup on Friday and take down is on Sunday. Means more then one trip and can be quite a hassle. It is broken down into categories on types of fish. IDK exactly how they do the real judging, but their is public judging for best tank and best fish too.
