Fish Returns?

Do LFS take fish back if your not happy with them? Reason being, the partner got some new tetras (serpae) and they are extremely nasty buggers. She got a school of 5 and 3 of them were terrorising my one eyed albino cory and then all 5 whent for my large flying foxes, repeatingly nipping at the fins, they then turned on the cardinals. I have now seen enough and have put them in a holding tank that is heated but no filter so i need to get rid!

did they give you any advise when buying these? i would take them back and ask them to show you the more placid fish.

No they just asked how long the tank had been set up.

typical, they just care more about you bringing back dead fish and dont think about wether they are compatible. i would take them back and insist that they change them for something more suitable, but in a nice way ofcourse, which shop were they from?

yeah give it a go, considering they did ask you how old your tank is i suppose they do care a bit so they should swap them for you,
seen your setup a couple of posts down, sounds lovely, a shoal of rummy nose look really good and they are middle dwellers
