Reviews in Fish Biology and Fisheries is also good. Be sure to poke your nose into some of the Fisheries journals as well. They often have some of the more applicable info to aquarium fish, like disease treatments (fisheries have to fight ich too!).
But probably the best info can be gotten from a paper database. The one I use is web-of-science, but there are a few other ones out there. scholar.google.com is free, but I find its results are poorly organized (it is new). Ask your librarian what is available. You can use it to look up your favorite species (just type in its species name). The best thing it is used for is to go forward in time. That is, you can see in the paper what work they cited, but web of science gives you what papers published later that cites the original work. That way, you can see the latest work related.
