I'm going to have room for some more fish soon, and I wonder what would be good with 3 Emerald Catfish a couple otos in a planted sand 29 gal?

Thinking some kind of tetra, but I'm open to anything.

My water is PH 7 out of tap.

I have room for maybe 6 or 7 small fish.

how about serpa (sp?) tetras or rummy nose tetras, or black skirt tetras (those are my top 3 picks for tetras) or Harlequin Rasporas (I love those little guys)

Hi Undawada :)

I've always been fond of glowlight tetras. Their colors are lovely, yet soft, and their behavior is dignified. IMHO, they are just plain lovely fish.

Harlequin rasboras are the best schoolers. My personal favourite tetras are black phantoms because the males display beautifuly to one another and you can even see them color-change instantly. They have lots of character. Golden dwarf barbs are nice too; and a great change from the usual species. However, for your tank I'm going to suggest emperor tetras. Their colors (especialy the eyes) look stunning in a planted tank.
